Abby was from a litter of only two pups, but she stood out with that 'finesse' and obvious 'class' that she presented throughout her career. A Bitch Challenge and Best of Breed winner at the National Dog Show. It was at the time when we had Abby and another great show bitch, NZ CH Clan-Abby Lorna's Love in our kennels that we were approached by Ron and Julie Short in New South Wales for a bitch to show. We decided to let them have Abby with the hope that she would do well for our kennel and we were not disappointed. Abby was the Best Of Breed winner at the 1985 Sydney Royal Show under Mrs F Hamilton (now Sommerfield) of the United Kingdom. As well as multi group and in-show wins, Abby amassed 1,000 Challenge Points during her career in the showring in Australia - a feat which now is recognised by the term "Aust Grand Champion" however the title was not in place during Abby's show career.
