Francesca arrived in England in 1989, and had to go into Quarantine. She had a very precious cargo on board when she arrived and duly produced 4 beautiful babies on the 5th of April. The pups came home when they were 7 weeks but Chezzi still had to finish her time in quarantine. We did not wait for her release day, but were waiting to bring her home at 1 minute past twelve midnight! It was quite some time before we could take Chezzi to shows as she was totally naked, but when we did eventually get her out to a show she won the C.C and B.O.B beating our own Wizaland Jack Frost, what a day that was! Chezzi won her title steadily, taking several Reserve C.C.s along the way, and the C.C at Crufts, when her traveling companion, the very handsome Clan-Abby Blue Aberdoone, took B.O.B. Chezzi, as she grew older won Best Veteran, many years running at Border Collie of the Year. Her name appears on many pedigrees, in many countries of the world, although she only had 9 puppies in her lifetime. Two of these pups became Champions, SH CH Wizaland Newz Edition, and SH CH & IR CH Wizaland Newz Scoop. Her Champion grandchildren are to numerous to list. Chezzi is remembered here for the love and devotion that she gave, and will remain the most beautiful Border Collie that I have ever seen, and it is a shame that they broke the mould when they made her.
